Adopt Me Pet Ages & Levels List – Neon Levels!

Aging up your pet in Roblox Adopt Me is a pretty simple process, but it can take a while so it's helpful to know exactly how long this sort of thing might take. We're taking a look at how different pets age and level up in the game, as well as give information on how many tasks each level will take you to complete based on the rarity of the pet!

Pet Ages List
The ages/levels of a normal pet in Adopt Me in order are as follows:
- Newborn
- Junior
- Pre-Teen
- Teen
- Post-Teen
- Full Grown
No matter what the rarity, your pet will go through these levels on the way to becoming fully grown. If you turn four fully grown pets into a Neon Pet, then the process will essentially start over again, but the ages will be different. Here's a look at the list of ages for your Neon Pet:
- Reborn
- Twinkle
- Sparkle
- Flare
- Sunshine
- Luminous
- Mega-Neon (Full Grown)
These are mostly identical to the stages seen as the normal pet ages, they just have different names!

Leveling Up Your Pets
Depending on your pet's rarity, it will take a certain amount of tasks to level your pet up through each level. We've got a list below with the total number of objectives you'll need to complete to get each type of pet to the fully grown state.
Common Pet
- Newborn - 3 Tasks
- Junior - 6 Tasks
- Pre-Teen - 11 Tasks
- Teen - 16 Tasks
- Post-Teen - 20 Tasks
- Full Grown - 56 Tasks
- Neon - 224 Tasks
- Mega-Neon - 826 Tasks
Uncommon Pet
- Newborn - 5 Tasks
- Junior - 9 Tasks
- Pre-Teen - 13 Tasks
- Teen - 18 Tasks
- Post-Teen - 25 Tasks
- Full Grown - 70 Tasks
- Neon - 280 Tasks
- Mega-Neon - 1120 Tasks
Rare Pet
- Newborn - 10 Tasks
- Junior - 20 Tasks
- Pre-Teen - 30 Tasks

Ultra-Rare Pet

Legendary Pet
- Newborn - 13 Tasks

- Pre-Teen - 38 Tasks
- Teen - 50 Tasks
- Post-Teen - 62 Tasks
- Full Grown - 189 Tasks
- Neon - 756 Tasks
- Mega-Neon - 3024 Tasks
As you can see above, leveling a pet up to the next life stage requires more tasks per stage as the rarity increases. For neon pets, the life stages are moved through with tasks in the same way, by completing tasks. A pet becomes fully grown at the Mega-Neon stage.

Eggs
Eggs can take a certain amount of tasks to hatch. There are two main types of eggs that differ with task amount.
- Cracked Egg - 4 Tasks
- Limited / Royal / Pet Eggs - 6 Tasks
Pet Leveling
While this process can take a while, you can kind of speed up the process if you create yourself what is known as a grinding room. You basically put a cheap crib, tub, feeder, and piano in one room. This allows you to complete tasks for your pet all in the same area so you don't have to run around and waste a lot of time. This doesn't cover every single task, but it does cover sleep, feeding, drinking, and boredom in one place. This is going to be one of the fastest ways to level up your pet, so consider creating one of these rooms so you can complete tasks efficiently!
You can also go pick up some Golden Apples from the doctor's office so you can heal your pet if it gets sick. Also, you should have a sandwich on your person whenever you log in each time. This can be fed to your pet.
