Pokemon GO Dazzling Dream Event Featuring Shiny Cutiefly

A fantasy theme is coming to Pokemon GO, with glitters and fairies everywhere.
Beginning January 13, 2024, Trainers will have the chance, for the first time in Pokemon GO, to encounter a new Shiny Pokemon, and that Pokemon is Shiny Cutiefly. This Pokemon can be encountered in the wild, through hatching 7km Eggs and Field Research tasks.

Besides wild encounters, there will also be selected Pokemon hatching from 7km Eggs. Keep in mind that Cutiefly hatched from Eggs has a bigger chance of it being Shiny Pokemon.

There will also be event-themed Pokemon featured as Field Research task encounters. Also, certain Field Research tasks will be given out Mega Energy for Mega Gardevoir and Mega Altaria.

We haven’t had a Collection challenge for a while (or have we?), so to make things more interesting, the Dazzling Dream event will be having Collection Challenges that will reward Trainers XP, Stardust and an encounter with Carbink.
Now that we are on challenges, there will be yet another challenge, a challenge that will cost you $2, and you will gain access to an event-exclusive Timed Research. Completing the research tasks will give you two Premium Battle Passes, XP, Stardust, two Star Pieces and encounters with event-themed Pokemon. Keep in mind that this Timed Research has an expiration date, and you have to finish it before January 16, 2024.
Last but not least, there will be a Cutiefly Mask available in the in-game shop.
