Pokémon GO Eggs-pedition Access January 2024 Timed Research Tasks and Rewards

Starting January 1, 2024, Trainers in Pokémon GO will have the opportunity to purchase Eggs-pedition Access for January. This ticket offers Timed Research opportunities and bonuses, including Incubators, increased Gift storage, and extra XP. A new Eggs-pedition Access ticket will be available each month during Pokémon GO: Timeless Travels, allowing you to enjoy ongoing bonuses throughout the season.
Each month’s Eggs-pedition Access brings new Timed Research that starts at the beginning of the month. You’ll have until the end of the month to complete the research tasks, which offer chances to earn more XP, Stardust, and encounters with Pokémon from the Hisui region like Gible, Togetic, and Hisuian Growlithe.
The January Timed Research tasks can be completed anytime until January 31, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can purchase Eggs-pedition Access: January until January 29, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Buying it earlier means more time to enjoy the additional bonuses.
For US$5.00, or the equivalent in your local currency, you get access to bonuses and Timed Research throughout January. Remember, Timed Research expires, so you must complete the tasks and claim the rewards before January 31, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Trainers can also purchase and gift tickets to Pokémon GO friends who are at least Great Friends. Note that purchases, including gifts, are non-refundable as per the Terms of Service and cannot be bought with PokéCoins.
Eggs-pedition Access: January is available in the in-game shop until January 29, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The bonuses, active daily from the ticket purchase date to January 31, include a single-use Incubator for your first PokéStop or Gym spin of the day, triple XP for your first catch and spin of the day, the ability to open up to 50 Gifts per day, receive up to 150 Gifts from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs, and hold up to 40 Gifts in your Item Bag.

- Walk 1km: 2024 Stardust
- Catch 20 Pokémon: Ribbon Jigglypuff
- Hatch 2 Eggs: New Year Hoothoot

The Eggs-pedition Access: January Timed Research joins you with Togetic for an adventure yielding additional XP and Stardust.
Completing the Timed Research tasks will reward you with XP, Stardust, and an encounter with Togetic. The New Year’s 2024 Timed Research Quest includes tasks like walking 1km for 2024 Stardust, catching 20 Pokémon for Ribbon Jigglypuff, hatching 2 Eggs for New Year’s Hoothoot, taking 4 Snapshots for Party Wurmple, and earning 100 PokéCoins and 10,000 XP as rewards.
