The Witcher 2 System Requirements Aren't Too High
The system requirements for CDProjekt's upcoming title The Witcher 2 have long been the subject of speculation—at least among fans of the first game who haven't upgraded their computers since the release of The Witcher.
Unlike console gamers, who can stick to a single system for up to ten years, most PC gamers have to regularly update their systems to play games that require increasingly higher specs, thanks to the graphical advancements in top of the line game engines. It's the price one pays for being a first mover, and not a part of the mainstream.
Today, CDProjekt unveiled the requirements needed to run The Witcher 2. From the looks of it, most players who played the original title won't have too much trouble running the game on the same setup.
