What are Guardian Shards & how do you get them in Lost Ark?

Guardian Shards are Rare Items that can be found in Lost Ark's Tier 2 Chaos Dungeons. You can access all three Chaos Dungeon tiers after reaching level 50. Players must also complete the main quest Ealyn's Request in the North Vern region. Once complete, you will be able to visit any major city and enroll in one of the available dungeons via the Chaos Chamber Statue.

When defeating enemies in the Tier 2 Chaos Dungeons, you will find yourself picking up Guardian Shards. These can be used at any Chaos Chamber Exchange Vendor, which can be found in any major city. Guardian Shards can then be exchanged for Tier 2 Honing Materials.
Chaos Dungeons can be completed solo or with up to four players. To increase your chances of picking up Guardian Shards, aim to re-enter a Tier 2 dungeon at least twice. You will receive less gear on the third try, but you will, however, still receive Shards and Crystals.
