Where to find all Crafting Parts in Dying Light 2

In Dying Light 2, there are several different bits and bobs that players will need to collect in order to craft. There are tons of these supplies players can pick up throughout the game. We'll go over general places to look for each item.

All Crafting Parts and where to find them

  • Aerosol - Aerosol cans are used to make burning and bleeding weapons. Players can find these in chests, containers, stores, and loot.
  • Alcohol - Alcohol is used to craft weapon mods and medkits. Players can find these in loot, refrigerators, stores, and purchased from Quartermasters.
  • Batteries - Batteries are used to craft electric-based weapon mods. They can be found in chests, containers, and stores.
  • Blade - Blades are used to craft bleeding weapon mods. They can be found in containers and stores.
  • Bolter Tissue - Bolter tissue is a rare component that can be bought from Stores and looted from Bolters.
  • Bomber Kidney - The Bomber Kidney is used for a single blueprint during the side quest Kidney Punch. Players will need to do the side quest in order to collect one.
  • Chemicals - Chemicals are used to craft impact weapon mods and explosives. Players can find these in cabinets, loot, and stores.
  • Duct Tape - Duct tape is a super common crafting ingredient that is used to combine items. These can be found in stores and yellow boxes.
  • Electronics - Electronics are a very rare crafting ingredient used to create very rare blueprints. They can be found in cars, chests, containers, police sedans, and stores.
  • Fluorescent Shrooms - Fluorescent shrooms are used to create freezing weapons and boosters. They can be found in grassy areas and stores.
  • Fuel - Fuel is mainly used to refuel the Buggy and create Super Molotovs. It can be found in abandoned vehicles and gas pumps.

  • Gauze - Gauze can be used to create burning, toxic, and bleeding weapon mods, as well as medkits. Players can find gauze in first aid boxes, medical vans, and stores.
  • Herb - Herbs are used to craft toxic weapon modifications and medkits. Players can find them near water and in stores.
  • Household Supplies - These supplies are used in crafting burning and impact weapon mods, along with trap bombs. Players can get these from containers and stores.
  • Hunter Gland - The Hunter Gland is used to create only one recipe. Players can only get this ingredient as a reward for winning a Be the Zombie multiplayer match.
  • Metal Parts - Metal is used to repair and create several different items. Players can find them in chests, containers, loot, and stores. Alternatively, players can get these from dismantling metal weapons, or Quartermasters.
  • Nails - Nails are used to craft weapon mods, arrows, bolts, and shrapnel explosives. They can be found in chests, loot, stores, and yellow boxes. Alternatively, players can dismantle wooden weapons to get some.
  • Plastic - Plastic is used to craft electric weapon mods. They can be grabbed from loot, stores, yellow boxes, and Quartermasters.
  • Power Cable - Power Cables are used to craft electric and impact weapon mods. Players can get these from containers, loot, stores, and Quartermasters.
  • String - String is used to craft weapon upgrades and throwing weapons. They can be found in loot, containers, stores, trash bins, and Quartermasters.
  • Tin Can - Tin cans are used to craft throwing weapons. They can be found in containers, loot, stores, and from Quartermasters.
  • Toxic Lichen - Toxic Lichens can be used to make toxic weapons and boosters. They can be found on rocks, cliffs, and in stores.
  • Underwater Algae - Algae is used to create toxic weapon mods and consumables. Players can get them from stores and submerged areas.
  • Venom Gland - Venom glands are extremely rare and only used for a single blueprint. Despite this, players can get them to drop from toads.
